If your questions are not answered here, please feel free to call us at 714-288-1002. ⊗ What's the difference between office hours and gate hours?The office hours are the hours of operation for the property when the facility manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs or moving and packing supplies. The gate hours are the hours your rental unit can be accessed using your assigned electronic gate code. ⊗ When can I access my unit?You can access your unit at most locations during gate hours posted online and at the store. ⊗ What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?Indoor units are typically located inside of a building on the property. Many indoor facilities are in multi-story buildings with elevator access and wide hallways. Outdoor units are frequently on one-level with and have drive-up access. ⊗ What is a drive-up unit?A drive-up unit is a ground floor or outdoor unit that has its own loading area. These units are ideal for storing large, heavy items or equipment as you have the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck. Drive-up units are especially popular with commercial customers. ⊗ Do you have moving carts available?Push carts are available at many facilities with inside units accessed by inside hallways. If you are renting an inside unit and need a push cart, please let the facility manager know and they will be happy to assist you. ⊗ How can I reserve the Move In Truck?Please contact the Manager at the location where you will be renting. ⊗ What is a roll-up door?Roll-up doors are very similar to garage doors and are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward. Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage and are bigger than most doors allowing tenants to maximize the space of their unit. ⊗ What is climate control?Climate control is a feature that we offer at many of our facilities around the country. Climate controlled units are cooled or heated to protect your stored belongings from the extreme temperatures. ⊗ Do you offer parking for the storage of RV/boat/car/motorcycle?Specific One Stop Storage locations offer parking for the One Stop Storage of RVs, boats, cars and motorcycle. All One Stop facilities offer a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies. For your convenience, we also offer boxes and packing supplies available for purchase online. Click here to purchase packing supplies online. ⊗ What does "on-site" manager mean?"On-site" manager means that an employee, usually the facility manager, has an apartment on-site as part of the facility. ⊗ Do I get a lock when I rent a unit?You can purchase a new, sealed lock at your local One Stop facility and no one else will have a key to that lock. We offer a variety of sizes and types of locks, and to ensure the highest level of security, we highly recommend the purchase of a disc lock, also known as a cylinder lock. ⊗ Can anybody drive onto this property or do you need a PIN number?Most of our facilities have an electronic gate system which can only be opened by a code that is assigned to each individual tenant. ⊗ How far in advance can I book a reservation?We give you the flexibility to book a reservation up to 45 days in advance to help you plan ahead. ⊗ What are the payment terms?One Stop wants to make your One Stop Storage experience a stress-free experience, including paying your bill. Typically, our leases are month-to-month. We offer the convenience of AutoPay. We can automatically charge your Mastercard®, Discover®, Visa®, or American Express® each month, or you can pay online in the View My Account section of our website. ⊗ Do you accept credit cards?We accept several major credit cards, including MasterCard®, Discover®, Visa®, or American Express®. ⊗ Can I pay my bills online? Yes, paying your bill online is available in the View My Account section of our website. ⊗ Do I need insurance for my stored goods?Yes, you are responsible for those items you store at One Stop and insurance for those items is required. We offer affordable self One Stop Storage insurance options at the facility. In the event that you are already covered, a copy of the declaration’s page must be available at the time of rental. ⊗ What kind of documentation is required to rent a One Stop Storage unit?One of the following forms of identification; state issued identification card, drivers license, passport, or military ID. ⊗ Do I need to give you a notice when I am ready to move out?A 10 day written notice is required prior to vacating the unit. ⊗ What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your One Stop Storage needs.
